Abstract

Considerations on the doctor-patient drug addict. As long as there are beings who suffer and until their illnesses are not cured, will I be, to help them, their doctor, their resolve and their servant. Start the practice of the bodhisattva. The ability to develop an effective doctor-patient relationship requires a solid understanding of the complexity of human behavior and a rigorous education in the techniques of the person listening and interpersonal communication. The faculties of medicine and schools of specialization do not always provide sufficient training in this area. To diagnose, treat and manage disorders of a sick person the doctor must learn to listen and to talk. Human communication takes place, in fact, at different levels.

Characteristics: The report transmits the contents of the interview. The process of communication includes, however, non-verbal levels: tonal, gestural, mimic, which transmit information that is, one does not know or can not or do not want to verbalize. When art and technology of human communication is not known, learned, respected and applied by the physician in his relationship with his patient, treatment of the subject it is inevitably compromised.
