Abstract

Essay 1. - It is a well known fact that no athlete wants to have an injury, no matter how small or large the effects are on the individual's sporting performance and total fitness. This essay attempts to identify common injuries, the causes of these injuries and ways of prevention within the sport of male senior football. 'Injury in the context of football is a problem for both players as well as for coaches and the club as a whole' (Ekstrand et el., 2003. p39). The main purpose of this essay is to identify ways of preventing injuries as Ekstrand et el. (2003. p39) claims 'the prevention of injuries can also provide a financial saving for the club as well as maintaining a healthy squad'.
Essay 2. - goal choice, goal number 1, Dynamo Kiev (DK) vs. Manchester United (MU), goal description, Team systems of play, Start of phase and goal analysis,
