Abstract
The paper analyzes the role of "global competitiveness and indian economy, A comparative analysis with world economy." This topic was chosen for understanding of the role and impact of global competition of least developed, developing and developed countries. The policies and their potential for improvement in competitiveness. The competitiveness is measured by the GDP, Financial markets, interest rates, Industrial production, foreign reserves, Tax rates etc. The study finds a striking relationship between sharp increase in competitiveness and a coherent set of government policies introduced within a short period.
