The aim of that paper is to give to the reader a clear view about a Web/Internet Project. There are some similarities between a Web Project and projects in general but there are some specifications to be considered while working on a Web Project. Some parts of the Web Project have to be really well addressed. Therefore, we will see how Marketing and Planning in the field of the Internet are the key factors to achieve success. This paper gathers key elements which I have encountered. The "How? refers to a sum of actions and processes that have to be scheduled and planned to optimize resources. "A business model based on the Internet? refers to a website. My subject will be limited to two main business areas, the North American continent that includes the USA and Canada, and the European region. According to me Europe was affected by the administrative delimitations in April 2004. The aim of this papers is to provide the reader with key tools that I believe are functional for any future practical experiences.
