Abstract
ignition systems produces about 30,000 volt spark across spark plug and distribute high voltage spark to each spark plug in correct sequence. The number of times the spark, so it occurs as piston is nearing top dead center. The battery supplies power to entire system where as the ignition switch turns engine on or off. The primary circuit consists of low voltage wiring and components and uses conventional type automotive primary wires. It also controls when the ignition takes place. (When coil fires) The secondary circuit distributes current to the individual cylinders to jump spark the plug gap.
