Abstract
The word "brand" owes its origin to the Norwegian word "brandr" which means to burn. branding has become an important part of all business organizations. Brand building is a conscious customer-satisfaction orientation process. It calls for innovative thoughts and continuous efforts. A brand is expected to convey meaning in the following ways:
a) Attitudes, b) Benefits c) Values, d) Culture and e) personality of user. A good brand name should basically possess qualities of distinctness. Generally a good brand should be: Short, simple and easy to pronounce and easy to recognize and remember

Adaptable to packaging, labeling requirements and to any advertising medium and Contemporary
