Abstract

Next Generation Networking itself refers to the fact that it is an always live concept. Once a goal is achieved the question will arise again that 'What's Next...?' But as the concept was under discussion since so many years ( aprox. since 2002 ) the term became most common and most of us are well familiar with it. Even though that let us read something regarding the terms and concept then we will discuss the Next Generation as on today and the future of it. i.e. History of ngn, present status of it, Why we prefers to it?, definitions in global aspects, what it covers in actual, architecture, characteristics, data interconnections, relations with other environments, security, services and future of ngn is discussed in brief to know the doorstep of the future.
