Dr. Don Roberts, a research consultant, has received a government research grant to examine how aspects of a college student's experiences relate to his or her job performance. The research was also interested in the impact of gender on salary and promotions of the employee. This is why probably women are often promoted than men. But there could be another factor that impacts promotion as well: the quantity of work they furnish. Women could be more hardworking than men and it would hence be logical that they are being promoted more often. We also have to link this factor with the salary. Does being promoted mean more money for women than men or promotion just helps them earn as much money as men? But this is another debate that does not have any importance here.
