Abstract

man lives on a fragile planet which he calls "Earth". Life on this planet is basically dependent on the atmosphere. To man, the atmosphere is known as a surrounding influence on the air which surrounds the earth. This atmosphere provides a mixture of gasses, including water vapor, that allow all form s of life to survive. Two of the most important regions of the atmosphere are the troposphere and the stratosphere. The troposphere is the region of the atmosphere closes to the surface of the earth. The Stratosphere is the vertical structures of the atmosphere in which the incoming solar radiation with atmospheric constituents.Within the stratosphere is the ozone layer. The ozone layer is vital to every form of the life because its shields the Earth from the damaging ultra violet radiation from the sun. Nobody guessed that there are factors that might damage the protecting ozone. Then in the 1970's scientists warned that there is great danger that threatens the ozone layer. In 1985, British scientists discovered and NASA confirmed that for the past twenty years, a hole in the ozone has being forming over Antarctica and is said to be the size of forty eight States.
